Topiaries are gorgeously unique, tasteful, and classic but fresh perfectly coiffed houseplants of every shade of green, sometimes even a dusty grey like Lambs Ear or Dusty Miller. Usually, indoor topiaries are created out of Rosemary, Lavender, Myrtle, and Italian Cypress in the shapes of cones, spheres, and spirals. Originally, Topiaries were created by clipping hedges, shrubs, and trees into ornamental shapes to showcase in homeowners' yards. Recently, I have come across very familiar houseplants, even annuals; Geraniums, and Lantana being "trained" and shaped into topiaries. Keep an eye on my website, I will carry these beauties in the Spring, they are showstoppers! Over the past few years, indoor topiaries for the home have become very popular, Instead of a typical houseplant, Topiaries add luxury, and charm and tell a story of their own, like a beautiful piece of jewelry or a grouping of beautiful crystal, they are in a class by themselves; very confident but not loud about it, classy but not stuffy, royal but not pretentious. In fact, in any home, they will elevate the decor, like a chandelier in a barn or a string of pearls with a navy sweater and pair of jeans, they add just the right touch to make a statement. The best thing is, they go with anything!
What I love about Topiaries is their aesthetically pleasing look, whether standing tall and alone in the center of an entrance hall table, or on a kitchen counter. They can be grouped together; with different colors, textures, heights, and shapes, creating dimension and layers to any area of your home.
