Nothing looks better to me than something vintage added to something brand new. Like an old barn with a brand new sparkly chandelier or a large aged terracotta urn, speckled with moss, with a fresh bright green Italian Cypress cone topiary. It's the same vision that I have for beautiful vintage /vintage-looking containers with a fresh green Topiary or 2 or 3. Add in some bright chartreuse licorice vine and the look is complete.
What about 2-Tahitian Bridal Veils in vintage Pewter candle sticks? Or Russian Sage and a Black Pearl Caspian in a high gloss white vintage Italian water jug.
Then there’s my original vision of an antique enamel table lined with multiple Topiaries in different shapes sizes and variations. I collect and source out vintage containers, aged terracotta, and anything I can put a plant in that will give a contrast of age.
